WAMP’s annual 48 hour music video took place over the weekend of September 11th to 13th, 2020. On Friday September 11th at 5:00 pm, WAMP president Pablo Saravanja drew songs to match with filmmakers. The draw and screening took place virtually this year, to abide by COVID-19 regulations. This year, we had more song submissions than filmmakers register which meant a few musicians did not have a music video produced. Judging took place on the evening of Sunday, September 13th where we also filmed the results. We would like to thank our judges Camilla MacEachern from the NWT Film Commission, Ashley Makohoniuk from the board of Folk on the Rocks, and Andrew Goodwin from Cabin Radio.
The Teams were:
- ‘Smoky Summer Sun’ by Gaelen O’Hagan; music video by Braille Merchant
- ‘Small Town Song’ by Carmen Braden; music video by Sadetlo Scott
- ‘My Bacon Makin’ Baby’ by Ryan McCord; music video by Miles Johnson and Cat Fauvelle
- ‘Mary’s Motel’ by Baby Brian Weadick; music video by Korry Garvey
- ‘Family Man’ by The Housemen; music video by Martin Rehak and Emily Blake
AND THE RESULTS ARE…
